Teaching Introductory CS Classes using a Team-based Learning Classroom
Synopsis
Computer Science classes are taught in a myriad different ways. Most classes are taught using the traditional classroom lecture style with slides presented to the class. More recently, smart team-based learning classrooms have been developed for lecture delivery. This paper studies whether using team-based learning classrooms for introductory CS courses is reported by students to positively impact their learning.
